Brazilian Campeonato Alagoano

The Campeonato Alagoano de Futebol is a competition organized by the Alagoas Football Federation (FAF) to compete for the state title among clubs from Alagoas. Ten teams typically participate, and the champion and runner-up secure a spot in the following year's Copa do Nordeste and Copa do Brasil. The two highest-ranking teams not currently competing in any other national division also secure two spots in the following edition of the Brazilian Championship's Série D. The state's greatest rivalry is between CSA (Cento Sportivo Alagoano) and CRB (Clube de Regatas Brasil), the competition's biggest winners. Additionally, ASA (Associação Sportiva Arapiraquense) from Arapiraca is the main representative of the state's interior.
